Designed by the owners for their family holidays and based on many years' experience of staying in Greek houses, Villa Prospero incorporates the best features of these to which have been added touches of luxury and spaciousness. The view from the pool (below) across the azure blue of the Ionian Sea towards the island of Corfu, the Greek mainland and the beautiful mountains of Epirus: is the front drop of this luxury villa meeting every holiday dream for eight people.

The pool is surrounded by one of four terraces with permanent shaded areas, sun loungers, umbrellas, drinks tables and outdoor shower. And then it's just a short walk through Prospero's olive groves to the footpath and beach below, where two small coves form Glyfada Bay with its sparkling, crystal clear waters.

A ten minute walk up the lane and down the donkey track, through the olive trees, leads to the picturesque fishing village of Loggos; with its tavernas, bars, shops and bakery where you can hire a boat or simply sit and watch the comings and goings as you sip a cool drink.
